Green Material: Leather This stunning handbag was purchased in N.Y. in May 1990 at Lederer de Paris. The cost of the purse at that time was over $800.00. This handbag came from the estate of a prominent couple in Western North Carolina. It is in pristine condition and has been used very little. The maker of the handbag is Gurtner, made in Switzerland. At the time the handbag was purchased Gurtner handbags were sold exclusively at Lederers. The quality workmanship demonstrated by Gurtner is unsurpassed. Olivier Gurtner does not create an annual collection, rather he relies on his inspiration and that of his customers. Gurtner Leather is located in Geneva Switzerland. The purse has a small padlock attached with 2 small keys in the pouch hanging from the handle. The lock appears to have never been used. The interior of the bag is suede leather and has 2 pockets (one zips, one snaps) lined with a silky material. There is no ink marks or stains on the inside of the bag. The way the handbag latches is very unique as you can see from the many photos we have included. There is a card from Lederer that will come with the handbag. This elegant handbag will bring the lucky new owner of pleasure. |
